- Position: Detached Youth Worker
- Location: Middlesborough
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Salary: £17,381 - £19,730 per annum pro rata
- Contract: Fixed term to 24.1.15
Role Summary
To work on the Big Lottery project in Middlesbrough to support the achievement of the objectives in the project plan. To locate disaffected young people (16 -18) that are disengaged from mainstream provision and provide mentoring support and opportunities for personal and social development to enable their transition back into further education, training or employment. The identified target group for the project will be the hardest to help having been identified as being in the 13 – 15 at risk of exclusion group, the 16 - 18 NEET’s group and as having multiple and complex barriers to learning and employment.
