A company’s workforce is its most valuable asset. So, from a business perspective, training existing staff, offering Apprenticeships and work placements to young people can make your organisation more effective, productive and competitive by directly addressing skills gaps.
Rathbone is a national charity with an established track record in working with young people and existing employees in businesses to grow their work skills and knowledge. In 2008/9, we helped over 17,000 people to learn and hundreds of businesses to improve. We’re a national training provider with Employer Engagement Officers in all areas of the UK helping you identify your training needs and provide a range of solutions.
Rathbone works with a wide range of employers from high street names to small family businesses in hosting Apprentices and running work placements for young people. We also provide training for your existing employees.
Rathbone can help improve your business performance by:
- Improving the skills of your current employees
- Providing apprentices at a very reasonable cost
- Providing placements at no cost to your business including Access to Apprenticeships
- Reducing recruitment costs and time
We’re government approved to provide high quality work based training. And as a charity, Rathbone isn’t about making a profit from training. Instead, we dedicate all our funds to train your employees and support young people on their journey into employment. And we’re open about the funding we can claim on your behalf.
We’re experienced. We understand how people learn – we believe that everyone can improve through training and development.
You’re not alone.
Many businesses identify having trained, skilled and committed staff as a key challenge to their business success. Over 85,000 businesses in England are training apprentices. Working with a wide range of employers from high street names to small family businesses means that Rathbone understand the different challenges businesses face in staff training.
