Staff ‘bake off’ to raise money for MacMillan

Posted by Rob Tickle |  29th September 2017

From cupcakes and brownies to sponge cake and scones, staff at our Sheffield and Manchester offices brought in their bakes to raise over £200 for cancer support charity MacMillan, as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September.

The tasty treats were judged in Manchester by our Managing Director Ian Webber and in Sheffield by our Qualifications Administrator Sue O’Mahony.

The eventual winners were a lip smacking lemon drizzle cake made 11-year-old Ciara Taylor, the daughter of our Quality Manager, Rose Taylor, and an array of colourful cupcakes created by Julie Lewis, PA to the Managing Director.

Rathbone Training centres across the country also held their own Coffee Mornings for MacMillan including in Cwmbran where our staff raised an additional £81.
