On 29th June 2018, Rathbone Training attended the Leicester Employment Hub Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony.
This event celebrated the successes of apprentices in the Leicester area and aimed to raise the profile of apprenticeships more generally. By hosting a graduation ceremony for apprentices, the Leicester City Council Employment Hub hoped to highlight that a degree level apprenticeship qualification carries the same esteem as a university undergraduate degree and should be valued accordingly.
Now in its fourth year, the Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony in Leicestershire has developed into an annual event. This year the ceremony was held at the dignified and spacious surroundings of De Montfort Hall. The ceremony was a valuable chance for apprenticeship learners to step up on stage and be recognised as a graduate.
Rathbone Training played a key role in the event, and on the night Rathbone Director for England Mandy Stewart presented the Apprenticeship Intermediate Award to Gemma Freakley.
The event was a huge success with approximately 700 people in attendance including friends, family, stakeholders and employers.
