A teenager from Wolverhampton’s hard work and dedication has landed him a job with the Crown Prosecution Service in Birmingham.
Ashleigh Walker, 17, has been taken on by the CPS as a Business Administrator after gaining English and Business Administration qualifications at Rathbone Training in Wolverhampton.
Ashleigh came to Rathbone Training with some anger management issues and learning difficulties but he didn’t let those stand in his way, with support from Rathbone Training colleagues in Wolverhampton he was able to overcome his barriers and achieve his goals.
“Even though Ashleigh knew hurdles lay ahead we always urged him to follow his ambitions of working in law,” said David Bates, tutor at Rathbone Wolverhampton.
“Despite struggling for the first part of his learning journey with us, his dedication, commitment and a good team ethos has enabled Ashleigh to get this fantastic opportunity.”
