Staff and learners at Rathbone Training in Cwmbran used pedal power to raise over £200 for Sport Relief in an epic six hour cycle.

Torfaen Leisure Trust provided a spin bike for the endurance challenge which received donations from young people, Rathbone staff and local employers.

Tutor Kelly Amos lead from the front as she managed to complete a massive 25 kilometers during her stint on the bike and in total the team covered a distance of over 200 kilometers.

The fundraising efforts were also supported with a cake sale, guess the name of the bunny, face and hand painting and a how many lollies in a jar competition.

“We had a fantastic day and it was well worth the aching limbs to raise lots of money for a really good cause. Many thanks to everyone who took part and contributed to the challenge,” said Emma Clark, Youth Programmes Manager for Rathbone Training in Cwmbran.
