Luke's fine feat

?Luke Hatter has successfully completed the complex application process to join the Royal Signals within the British Army.

He will now start his phase one training at Pirbright, in Surrey, later this year before going on to Blandford, in Dorset, to complete his trade training. He will then be posted to a working unit.

Luke moved to Manchester from Nottingham to live with extended family. He wanted to join the Army and was sign posted to Rathbone via Connexions.

He started at the Manchester centre and was enjoying the course whilst getting the support he needed to prepare for each stage of his army application process. However as Luke was coming close to completing his studies he received news that he was to move back to Nottingham without notice. Luke maintained contact with his Tutor Andrew Zallmann and was able to complete the remaining work via post, passing his level 1 Public Service qualification.

Luke continued to use the support of his Tutor with advice and guidance, helping prepare and pass each element of the application process.

Luke would like to thank everyone at Rathbone for the support they gave him during this period in his life; the support and belief shown helped him maintain his focus through a very difficult period of his life.
