Joshua Uwadiae is the founder of WeGym. He was highly commended for his contribution to apprenticeships at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2015.

In January 2016 he agreed to become a Rathbone Training ambassador to help us promote our work with young people across the UK.

Speaking during Rathbone Training’s awareness campaign during National Apprenticeship Week, Joshua said:

“As the government is committed to investing in quality apprenticeships it is important to have training providers like Rathbone Training who provide young people regardless of their academic background with the opportunity and support to thrive on a vocational pathway. Long before, I was a challenged youngster myself and I believe Rathbone Training plays a crucial role in supporting businesses to find and develop the right apprentices into assets who provide a real benefit to their organisation.

“Rathbone Training’s work with SMEs and larger employers is helping businesses to grow and helping young people to gain the skills, qualifications and experience they to progress their careers whilst working and earning a wage.”
