Teaching traineeship helps Ria progress

Ria Mitchell, 17, is one of the first learners to benefit from Rathbone Training's centre in Preston, which is offering work based learning opportunities for young people across Lancashire.

Ria is currently on a traineeship as a teaching assistant with Rathbone Training and here is a video of her talking about the difference our support has made to her.

Rathbone Training's Preston centre, which is being run in partnership with Preston College, has been offering 16-24 year olds the chance to learn while they earn through European Social Fund (ESF) funded traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities with a diverse range of local employers since October.

If you would like more information on the services provided by Rathbone Training’s new centre in Preston, please contact Alicia Yates, Rathbone Training’s Programme Co-Ordinator in Preston, by telephone: 07824355987 or email: alicia.yates@rathboneuk.org.
